Burns Unit Renovation, installation of new burns bath and bath lifter
Green Leaf was entrusted with delivering a comprehensive solution for the burns unit at Rob Ferreira Hospital, encompassing room renovations, structural alterations, and the installation of a specialized bath system. While our expertise primarily lies in supplying and commissioning equipment, this particular project required us to venture into construction work—handling electrical installations, plumbing, and general building maintenance, which falls outside our usual scope. One of the key challenges was sourcing reputable suppliers and service providers who could meet our standards and deliver quality results. This tested our project management capabilities at every stage, from importing the bath system from Sweden to coordinating the building modifications. The unit is set to be inaugurated by the MEC in early April 2025.
